Jumpin' on the bandwagon - Problems with coverter!!!

Well I read this problem in a later post but it was not answered. When I attempt to convert...I cannot get to step 4. The progress bar goes a certain distance and stops. I read in the other post to push stop and see what the errors are. The errors I recieved were these:

Warning: OpenDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/virtual/site461/fst/var/www/html/community/converter.php on line 370
Importing Member Data:

Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home/virtual/site461/fst/var/www/html/community/converter.php on line 377

Can someone help me?!?!

Apparently you are using the wrong location for one of your boards, it can't open the directory because it doens't exists, be shure the directories you used in the converter are correct.

All the information I entered into the converter was correct. Everything that needed to entered into the spaces was nothing difficult.
Is their a manual way of doing a conversion. Because the converter does not seem to be working for me? The only thing the converter brings over from my  other board is the News, censored words, and unallowed usernames.
However, the converter will not let me use  the path to my old board...I had to use the URL instead.

But I really need all this to work. Because for some reason  since I changed to a linux server, my  SP1.1 board will not work.
Also is the converter for SP1.1 or Yabb 1 Gold? My board is SP 1.1. Just asking...because I don't think the error  has anything  to do with me doing anything wrong.

Well I don't know if the converter works with gold(since I don't have a copy) but I have used it to convert a SP 1.1 board to YaBBSE. So it should work for you... is there any mods installed that might interfere with the conversion?

Well what can I do? The converter doesn't seem to work for me. Is there something else I can do? Have you ever tested the converter to know how it works? I guess I need to know something else I can do. Because I am trying to convert my board which is on a windows server to a linux server. I have access to a unix server so maybe I should try moving the board to a  unix server to see if it maybe a conflict of servers. But I guess I need to know if someone ever successfully converted a Yabb SP 1.1 to SE from a Windows server to a Linux.

I did. Make SURE that you have the paths correct, I can't stress that enough.

Did you move the Windows files over to Linux?

What are you using as the source path? Can you post that here?

I was using the direct URL as my source path. http://www.chimenesworld.com/cgi-bin/YaBB

and this is the path to Yabb SE
/home/virtual/site461/fst/var/www/html/community

For some reason I can't use the path where to my Yabb SP1.1 board. I have to use the direct URL. Otherwise I get errors in step 3.

If you can help me I can e-mail you the direct URL where to the Yabb SE board.

For some reason Yabb SP1.1 doesn't work on my linux server. Do you think I can still convert it if I have it on my server and it doesn't work?

It doesn't matter if it works on the linux server or not, it will convert it anyway.

They pretty much told me to put the perl version of Yabb on my server. So do that and put the correct path to your perl version of Yabb. And just follow the directions on the converter. I still recieved some errors...but they were basically about small things that wouldn't convert over to my board that I could change on my new board. Ex. reserve names
