dpolistchuck  > read all posts on this thread, i'm sure your're problem has been answered, and is doc'd in the mod itself. its to do with the sign up options you board.

Someone asked before and it went unanswered, so I'll ask it again.

When doing a "test" registration I get the error

"You are not allowed to access this section"

whats up with this?

which link did u click when u get that error?

make sure u've uploaded all the changed files, index.php, Register.php, Admin.php, BoardIndex.php and english.lng

I didn't upload Register.php   :P

I usually look at the "edited files" as shown on board mod, and since that was not an edit file, I forgot.

I know, I know its in the readme.   :-\

The top title of the registration page says


"Application Required Information Required Information "

Looks like a double up somewhere, I'll check in my enlish.lng

I downloaded the Mod for 1.5.1, uploaded the files and nothing seems to have changed at all. No error codes. I even tried to register to the form under a different name and was not prompted to approve anything under my admin loggin name.

Any ideas?

Ok I went back and opened the application_dbmod.php file in my browser and got this error:

YaBB SE DB Editor
Executing query: CREATE TABLE `yabbse_application` ( userName varchar(80) NOT NULL default '', emailAddress tinytext NOT NULL, hideEmail tinytext NOT NULL, message mediumtext NOT NULL, time bigint(20) NOT NULL default '0', IP tinytext NOT NULL ) TYPE=MyISAM;Error creating table `yabbse_application`. SQL Error: Table 'yabbse_application' already exists


There was 1 error when upgrading your SQL.


SECURITY WARNING: Remove this file after installing the mod!!

What am I doing wrong here aside from removing the one file?

this error message is okay if u've accidentally run it twice:
QuoteError creating table `yabbse_application`. SQL Error: Table 'yabbse_application' already exists
it's just saying that the table application is already exist

have u uploaded all the changed files (index.php, Admin.php, BoardIndex.php), language files, and the new source file (Register2.php)?

and the read me file

No language files were there.

You must apply the .mod file with BoardMod, it alters your source files.
