 Hola quisiera saber si es posible hacer backups algo asi como copias de seguridad del foro o del database en caso que algo suceda con el server, y asi volver a publicarlo todo, gracias...! ???

Hola,

para hacer respaldos de tu BD (dump) utiliza
phpMyAdmin (http://phpmyadmin.sourceforge.net/)

Es relativamente facil de instalar (tutorial aqui: http://bulmalug.net/body.phtml?nIdNoticia=628)
