Dem0n, I think the point that surfy was trying to make was that exact question was asked and answered just the day before you asked it and it was only like two posts before yours...  No harm.

well, no i didn't read i posted when i read about the mod description, anyways i downloaded this mod and it has no instructions.. is there anyway i can get instructions to install this mod correctly?

If you downloaded it then I will assume you are going to either install it by hand or with BoardMod raher than via PackMan.  While I don't officially support BoardMod installs it will work just the same if you know what to do.  This thread gives a lot of info for running BoardMod: http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?board=134;action=display;threadid=4653
If you are installing by hand... well then the instructions are "Open the mod file and install it by hand"

On the other side of it, it is packaged as a YaBBpak which will pretty much install itself (almost) via the Package Manager (PackMan) in the Admin section of your board.

I don't include instructions *in* the mod because the instructions are all the same for any mod if you understand the concept of a mod.

Can you turn it off?  I've got several admins on my board and I don't really care to be sharing my IMs with all of them.

turn it off?  no.   an admin is an admin is an admin.  its just an admin link.  its either there or its not.  you would have to uninstall the mod to turn it off.

I installed it as part of that mega-mod or whatever.  I guess I need to do the reverse of the mod posted earlier in this thread?

Oh.. I don't endorse the Super-Mod.  If you installed it then you are on your own.  I wil not support the Super-Mod since I am not the one that assembled that package.  Even though my mod is included, it is just not that simple.  To be quite honest, I am not sure that you can just "undo" this part from the Super-Mod.  Good luck.

Is it possible that Admins can delete IMs?
Because in my Board the most users don´t do it so my MySQL-DB is full of this.

I'm not sure where I have explained this but this mod was written by request from someone.  Personally I don't think I like this mod but I tohught I might as well release it.  The original request was for teh admin to be able to just view IMs and not actually interact with them.  So to answer your question.. NO.  Sorry.

I just want to delete some messages which are really old and nobody reads them anymore.

Only way to delete IMs from outside, is through MySQL/phpmyadmin
