Gradient fill effect not showing?

Among the new appealing features in SE is the nice add of the gradient fill effect as the background of cat names. I have some basic knowledge in CSS. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that such effect has to do with 'Transparent' attribute, right?

Anyway, the effect was displayed perfectly when I was using IE 5.5 at home. But when I accessed my board from work yesterday using IE 5.0, the effect didn't show; just the dark blue background. Accessed the board from home later; the effect didn't show either, no matter how many times I refresh!! Weird isn't it ::)? What could be wrong? ???

My board can be reached at: 64.176.125.58/ee/forums/29/

Thanks.

OK, a test account has been created. Use test for both username and password (lower case).

Hope this helps.

edit your template .. look for
.catbg {FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-SIZE: 13px; BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(YaBBImages/catbg.jpg); COLOR: #000000}and replace it with
.catbg {FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-SIZE: 13px; BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(Forum_Images/catbg.jpg); COLOR: #000000}
you have changed the defualt YaBBImages folder.

Thank you pal so much. It is working now :). Correction though: the URL of catbg.jpg should be: ../Forum_Images/, since such folder resides outside SE folder.

Nevertheless, I can't get it. If this was the reason, then why it was working fine the first time I accessed it? I haven't touched this area of declaration! I'm sure of that. Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as it's OK now.

So, it has nothing to do with this 'Transparent' attribute as I thought?

Once again, appreciate the effort Ali ;). Many thanks.

Shall I remove the test account now?

Salam.
