Adding to a .lng file

OK, so I am working on my first real mod. and its for the calendar.  I think I need to add some entries into the .lng file but how can I be sure I am adding unique entries?  Right now my last calendar text entry is $txt['calendar56'].  I am guessing it would be dangerous to just add $txt['calendar57'] and so forth.  So do I add another section and use unique entries like

$txt['mycalmod1']
$txt['mycalmod2']
$txt['mycalmod3']
where "mycalmod" is specific about the purpose ofthe mod.

Just wondering... I want to do it right.

that will be fine, so long as noone else uses the name mycalendarmod

i figured as much.  there really is no way to gaurentee that noone will use the same title other than to make it so unique and descriptive of the mod funtion that it is not likely any one else will do the same.
