Need a mod to send email by group

It would be really nice if there was a way to email members based on the group they are in, as well as to all.

Currently, when I want to email my members, I get a total list of all members.  I have a board that any one can join but I also have a special group that only those who have joined the clug and paid dues are in.  They have access to other parts of the board.  I would like to be able to send an email to just them.

I have not seen a way to do this yet.  Perhaps some one has some ideas to make it a mod.

OK... so I have gone and done it myself and I would like to share such a mod.  The only catch is that, according to the  "Rules and Regs", I have done a no-no by messing with the Admin.php.

However, it appears that these "Rules and Regs" have not been updated in 9 months.  Any one know if they still hold true?

Of course they are true, why else would they still be sticky?

They might be sticky if someone spilled soda on them and forgot to clean it up.  

... but the one I was concerned about was the first one:

For now, untill we release a couple IMPORTANT mods...leave Admin.php and the package php files alone.  Don't worry - you can play with them in a couple weeks

It has been many more than a couple weeks since « Last Edit: December 20, 2001, 02:16:15 PM by Joseph Fung » and I was just wondering if I could play with the Admin.php yet.
