Mark Read and First Unread

I'm interested in two mods.

First, when you click on Mark Forum Read, having you be redirected to the main forums page, not the same forum you clicked the button from. When I click that link, I'm done with the forum, and want to go back to the main.

Also, I love the boards that have the little graphic you click on to go to the first unread post.  Instead of having to scroll down to find where you read last.

Either of these in development at all?

OH, and PS, how does it work with marking forums read? Is it cookie based, so when you come and then go, it marks them read for you. Or do you have to mark them read manually?  Thanksa

As you read and browse it marks things read.  It stores this in the database not in a cookie though.
