Ok here's what this is:

a post that once posted appears on ALL BOARDS as stick or just a regular post... the admins or global mods are the only people who can post a universal post...

guys, tell me what you think about this... also if it is a feature already integrated in YABBSE and I am just too dumb to figure it out.

I've seen it on other BBS' but not YaBB SE. A good mod idea.

Also you know the yabb system better then most people so you know it's not already intergrated.

you know if board 0 is reserved for anything? I am going to use that to separate regular topics from universal

As I said a board with a id of 0 cannot exist because the id is has the extra part in it for auto_increment. So I doubt anything in YaBBSE uses 0 and I doubt you would be able to as well because if you where to try to make something with the id of 0 it wouldn't work(I have tried this myself on something else, auto_incriment doens't allow the value to be set to 0).

yeah, vb has this feature. It also lets you specify what boards too, or categories it might be.
Anyway, board ID's start at 1, not 0. Same goes for threads.  ;)

I made it so the threads that are supposed to show in all the boards have ids of 0 ^.^ simple as that... with few error suppression strats I managed to get it working flawlessly so far.
