At the risk of alienating this "community" I think some of these responses to Lonestar are a little harsh, maybe even defensive.
Isn't part of "giving back" also pointing out apparent flaws?
He did caveat his criticisms by stating he is indeed a supporter of the program. The concerns he brought up are legit...why jump all over him?
Obviously he and all of us support Yabbse or we wouldn't be using it.
If he just clammed up and used some other program or just refused to upgrade and not post why, then it would be legit to say he wasn't "giving back", correcto?
One of the dangers of self-implied internet "communities" is they become social groups instead of forums for whatever topic they were formed for. Making online buddies is great but let's not play "private club".
Do I get change for mi dos centavos?

[1] YaBB SE is a community - it needs people to help it grow and succeed. If we all just download it and don't give back anything, it's not a very good situation. But we have mod writers, beta testers, support staff, etc - all helping make YaBB SE a more solid product.
