How long does the conversion take?

I'm in the middle of doing a conversion, and so far its taken about 20min.

All I have is the browers window up its on step 4. The status bar on the browser is about 1/2 way.

Just curious how long this process takes.

Somebody? Its still converting, and my system resources are about used up.

My pagefile use at about 1.5 gigs, and my cpu is holding steady at about 60%...

Is this gonna be done soon? Or is something wrong? Or what? This is really killing my system.

Kill the process. Make absolute sure you have it working. Press stop in the browser and see if any errors come up.

Restart the process and MAKE SURE you have the paths correct.

Hehe I figured :) It is not the right path to the old forum.

Make SURE you have the right path of the old forum you're converting and to be safe, chmod it wide open 777.

Looks like either the path is wrong or the world wide read permissions to that path are missing.

Thanks I got it!!!

My board isn't installed in the cgi-bin, other then that it had the directory right... Grrr. I could kick myself in the rear right now.

My poor computer I can only imagine how many of them things I had loaded into memory, I swear my pagefile before I killed was coming close to 2000 megs.

I'm done with the conversion, took about 3 minutes...

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it!

Already done did, I had to restart the poor baby, I was paranoid it was gonna shutdown on me... My computer is massively o/c'd and my memory is overclocked to 194fsb or 392DDR... Good stress tester..

I also found my missing boards, they were at the bottom, they were usually at the top..

The response is awesome! Thanks again!
