Hi everyone,

Does anyone know any mod for YaBBSE something like Headlines News call from forum category? YaBB SP have one mod like that. It's call new post on forum and display on html or webpage.

Look in the yabb directory, you find a file called ssi.php and news.php

Those are there for those purposes.

they only have recentTopics() function. The one I'm looking for is call a thread from a specific forum. Example I want to call 5 new threads from Mods Idea forum and display it in html or webpage. And display a thread mean it will display one or two paragraph (there is an option to choose) within the thread in html. It's not just the topic and link to that topic.

can you show me how to call it ? I'm pretty new to this thing hehe :)

oh by the way I just check the news.php and it say
$newsphpver = "YaBB SE 1.1.3"; while I'm using 1.4 does it will effect anything ?
