Is there a program I can get that will convert the encrypted password to plain-text? (I'm using phpMyAdmin to view it.)

Or how can I disable the crypt() thing?

you can't do it on a board that is existing, I did it on my test board.  You just search for crypt() in a bunch of files, I recommend getting a batch replacer (search fro it on download.com)

Yeah... that'd be really friggin awesome to steal passwords on MY OWN BOARD. </sarcasm>

I don't have an SMTP server, and my members need their passwords to log in.  So there, whore.  ;)

1. As admin, you can always reset the password of your members.

2. There is a mod for SP1.1 that shows the decrypts password in the members profile for admins.

I'm using YabbSE... not Yabb SP1.1 anymore.

Blah... forget it.  It's a lost cause anyway.

only DES is possible to unencrypt md5 no, because the encrypted üpasswort is not the passwort but only a checksum!

Your members can add secret answers that will allow them to change their passwords without using SMTP.
