So far this has been a great mod.  I use it on my busy and heavely modded board, and we also use it on yabb.nl

An option to leave a little redirection post when you split a thread would make this the dogs danglies...

Um, not to be a downer, but I just split a thread and tried to move one of the newly created ones...  Its gone.  Thread no longer exists, and neither do any of the posts that were in it.  I just tried to move it to my off topic forum...

That board also shows a -36 post count...

Also, thread count says 1, but there are still two threads in there.

Let me get back to normal and I'll go through everyone's problems, add any requested features and fix a few bugs I found. Hopefully then we'll  have a post-beta release.

Well, it should read something like this :

instead of

Code Select Expand

print "<font size=1><a href=\"$cgi;action=splitthreads;thread=$viewnum;at=$mid\">Split Thread</a></font>&nbsp;&nbsp;";}

Etc. for the merge button.

Firstly I apologise for the loss of posts, this is why I won't yet move the mod out of a beta status since some people are still having problems.

Can you give me the following information:

* The number of posts in the original thread.

* The number of posts in the two new threads (if you can remember this, if not it doesn't matter).

* Where you split the thread. (very important)

If you could give me a temporary moderator account on a private area of your forum I can test everything to see if it works okay.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the full counts.  I believe the original thread had about 50 replies.  The new threads had 20 and 30 respectively.  The missing one is the 30 replies.  I split the thread on reply #22.

I used it several times, but there was no problem.....

So was it the mod, or just another problem you encountered ??

Okay, I just recreated what you said and experienced no problems.

However if you look back in this thread you will see I stated something wasn't working right with moving threads, but since this is part of YaBB SE and not my mod, it is beyond my control. As far as I know, it's not my mod to blame (although I could be wrong).
