Great mod (when will it be out of BETA ?).

What about notifications, will that still be working after a split, and what about when you merge 2 threads where you have notification ON, will it send 2 mails ?

Only the first question is meant to be serious

It will be out of beta when the reported problems go down in level - i.e. when everyone is happy with it.

As for notifications - when the thread is split, the original thread will have its original properties, but the new thread will NOT have notification enabled, the member will have to add notification to this new thread.

When merging, the properties are inherited from the destination thread, so if the destination thread has notification on then it will on the newly merged thread.

2 good questions.  I think when you split a thread, the email should say that it was split and give you 2 urls

Okay, so users subscribed to the old thread will receive an email saying it's been split, and here are two urls to the new two threads? Okay, sounds easy enough - look out for beta 3.0

BTW - I have an operation on Tuesday and might be inactive for a few days after, so beta 3.0 might be delayed

I'd like to see a mod of this mod that allows you to simply move a single post... You can move topics around and you can move whole boards around, but if somebody posts a single off-topic post you can't move that...

I know I could use this mod and split the thread at the off-topic post, then split that new thread again just after the off-topic post, then merge the remainder onto the original thread... but that's a lot of work (it was hard enough to explain)...

I know exactly what you mean, something like this will be in beta 3.0. I've got a lot on at the minute, including recovering from this operation, but it'll be in beta 3.0

Yeah, I can actually live now, my life has been completely changed

A few days of bad pain afterwards, but today I've felt my best since the operation.

Beta 3.0 will be out ASAP, sorry I can't give an exact date but I am overloaded with work and the web at the minute

It's been a few days with no updates, I was just wondering how the beta-testers were getting on with this mod. It's something I too have been really, really looking forward too.

I'm going on holiday next week so won't be available. I apologise for the lack of a 3rd beta of this mod at the current stage, it will be out when I'm back. If everyone is happy with that then it'll be a final (non-beta) release.
