It will take a while since I need to rewrite all urls in every source file to contain the session id of the user. This is a very big task to do.

Well that does suck then. :)

Curious, what would happen if you did not provide a session ID in the url? Would it log someone back in with a new session ID based on their cookie or give an error?

Well if it doesn't have it in the url then, people without cookies have the same problem as before, they can't login.

So in other words, same problem just storing the data in a different method. ::) Too bad I didn't know this when I made this mod... now I have alot more work to do.

First let me say, thanks Chris for this mod.  It pulled my site through the hard times.   :)

All my cookie problems ended when I installed ttCMS using YaBB SE as the forum.  Andy, the author fixed the cooke problem in YaBB when he released ttCMS.  I have not had a cookie issue ever since.  

Maybe someone should take a look at his cookie code.
