[UPDATE] More post based membergroups (1.4.1 BETA)

***UPDATE***

Postgroups now adds 5 new post based member groups, it also adds a star for each group, all can be modified from "Forum Prefs" and "edit membergroups" as per the original groups.

It has been tested (by me) on fresh 1.4.1 and modded installs of 1-4-0, currently running on my heavily modded 1.3.1 board.

If you have already got Postgroups installed then download the Upgrade file HERE

Remember to change all post counts back to standard as in "Read Me"

**Database changes**
Adds 5 rows to membergroups (Now has simple  postgroups_db.php)

**Install with Boardmod**

BEFORE INSTALLATION

To avoid a definate search error, make sure in (forum preferences and settings)  you temporarily set the original membergroups posts back to standard (50,100,250,500)

**No manual editing of Mod file needed for fresh installs**

Please make sure you read the readme file and download here

You've had 113 views (114 now) - just because no-one has replied doesn't mean they don't like/haven't installed the mod. It might work so well that no-one needs to say anything.

Nice mod for someone who admits they don't normally mod. :)

Should you get an error attempting the database changes (postgroup_db.php), it means that you have created an "additional" membergroup that is interfering with the row installation.

**"The following assumes that you have phpmyadin and your database prefix is yabbse_"**

If this is the case, , go to here , Copy the text, select your database in phpadmin, select your membergroups table and paste in the text where you see "Run SQL query/queries on database " press GO.


**Note**
All your member groups will default to original and New Group 1, New Group 2, New Group 3 will be created, also any "additional groups" will have been deleted so you will have to add them again.

I manually installed it to my board with no probs.  It is heavily modded.  I was just about to attempt adding membergroups to my board, you have very good timing.  For me at least ;D

Just save them as blank spaces, or what I do, is set the post count high

What's the process and time period for changing status from [BETA] to [DONE]
