I use IE 6.  Javascript enabled, no proxy server.  As I said before, I don't have any problems with other YaBB boards.  
At the moment, its faster than it has been for the last couple of weeks (down to 20 secs) BUT still not loading any images from yabb.info/images/
I get the downloaded images, so can see all the user graphics, just no board graphics, smilies, and now not even the Yabb tags.
Grrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't be surprised if this had something to do with the new .htaccess file that is to keep images from being hotlinked. ::)

Got to say I love yabbse and my site is quite nippy, but this is v slow for me.

Could put potential users off.

Shame as it's not indicative of real speed. If you look at a certain site, that shall remain nameless but perports to be "professional" in nature  ;) for me it's 300% faster.

Both! But curiously nothing like as slow at home (56K dial-up) than at work (ISDN). And, before anyone asks, other sites (including my own board) still load fine from work whenever I leave this one to check.

current "speed" : 7 seconds to load the boardindex.

No difference if I am logged in or not.

Enter IM inbox (with 161 messages): 16-17 seconds.

Operations that are fast:

- view user profile
