The users were the ones that requested it like this, to make a Global moderator basically an Admin without access to the admin area. And both groups weren't happy, did you totally not read my previous post? This was a requested method...

If it's so easy to change, make the MOD. And you're not *limited* at all, you're more then free to alter the code.

Why is it that I find you so helpful on other sites like YaPP and PfaBB but here I find you to be a pain in the ass?

Although I agree with your Jeff about the users wanting this for their GMods, you seem to be missing the reason why I think there is a mistake in the coding.
If a user wants the GMod to see their Admin only categories, then why can't they just put the GMod membergroup in the allowed list? Like they do with Admins? It just makes more sense this way as I'm sure fewer people want Gmods to see Admin boards than the other way around.

Well I'm just saying it does make sense to do it my way. The GMod membergroup doesn't have much of a meaning with the category permissions if you can't select who views what and where. It gives the admin more control.
