So I guess everytime a new llama arse feature wonders on to the board, I need to go check my profile to see if I can disable it... It took awhile before you could turn off bookmarks in the profile so it never occured to me that the llama would have come right out of the box with an off switch.  ::)

Is that the purpose of the check box in the profile with no text next to it...?

So why did you let yourself catch a magic llama if you hate it so much? ???

But I'd agree that llamas disabled by default might be the best solution in the long term.

Probably a language pack thing... not sure that Joseph speaks Svenska/Norsk/Dansk!

@Jack.R.Abbit

Perhaps I shouldn't really ask, but I can't help wondering what such a seriously anti-llama guy is doing with a user name like Jack.R.Abbit? ???

How are they even related? ???

But to not answer your question... I am not anti-llama.... I am "anti-annoying-poopoo-floating-around-my-desktop-that-serves-no-purpose"  Seeing how it just appeared with no explanation, I clicked it once to make it go away.  After that I just avoiding until I was later informed that it could be disabled.  I don't know about any one else but I don't make a habit of looking at my profile to see if there are any new things this week to disable/enable.

No that's true but anyone who has been with SE for any length of time knows that nearly everything is able to be disabled :)

right... but as I said... it took some time for Joseph to add the on/off switch for bookmarks.. and that was only after it was discussed during 1.5 dev that it was a bit buggy from time to time.  And not everything gets such a switch.  But what ever... some people love it... some people hate it...  I think it gets in the way.  I [smite] myself for reacting so violently

I guess they suggest a different sense of fun!  Nothing funny about the "magic llama" to me... not because it a llama... just annoying... however if it were "catch the magic stripper"... now that might be fun... once or twice.. then back to annoying.  ;)

I think "catch the magic naked Alex" would be funnier, but it would offend his wife, groundup.
