Forum Speed very slow - Use Textlinks !!

I was also wondering why this forum is slower compared to others.  I assume it is the server.  I use to have my site hosted at successfullhosting.com, and after I got about 30,000 posts with YaBB gold, it bogged bad.  I have since moved to tera-byte.com and it just flys.

same here... i am on the same serive as you now...  however tera-byte over the last 4 days has come to a halt with the MySQL processing..

hmm, hasn't done that to me.  I am use mysql database for ad rotator, classifieds and my shopping cart.

Again, can someone who knows please let us know if the slowness of this board is due to a sorry server or if it is software or scripting problems.  I have YaBB Gold and it is running just fine for me with more posts/users then here.  I want to upgrade to SE 1.3 if it will be faster, but if it isn't I would like to know since I am having so much trouble converting my board in the first place to 1.1 then having to upgrade to 1.3.

I am hoping it is the server because I really want to use 1.3!  I am using a lot of php/mysql scripts and I want to be able to share memberships between them.

ohhh, I noticed it is getting better, but still slow.

Hehe it's our server, it will slow down again around 10-11am EST
