Well its not going to work unless you do. Once the "bad" cookie is stored you either have to wait for it to expire, get them to delete it, or rename it.

Just rename the cookies in the admin settings then - That way, the users shouldn't need to do anything (assuming they do have cookies enabled in their browsers, of course)...

some closing tags are incomplete
like: </edit> -> </edit file>
</mod> -> </mod info> ;)

Ok one final update to fix when people were logging out but getting a cookie set still. Also fixed the tags. :)
See the two lines that have // in front if you have already installed this.

One of the Developers might want to include this with the official fixes, it is one of the more common errors/complaints.

 :'( It does not work for me.  I have edited the domain, and done the patch above, and I still get logged out before I can do anything... any other tips for things I should check?
I have tried IE5 and lynx and they both do it :'(

Have you deleted all your past cookies too?

Can you setup a test account for me? Just test/test or something so I can see how they are being set.

Also are you using IE 5 or 5.5?

Yep, deleted all my past cookies, and even changed the cookie name.

I setup a login with the u/p of test/test

Are you sure you did the code right? It is only setting one cookie, expiretime, when it should also be setting two other cookies for your username and password.

I'm working to add this cookie fix into 1.4.2 also,, among other bug fixes.

Implemented atm, we just need to do some testing of 1.4.2 before releasing

I just added a nice function to split the url into domain & directory. :P

When I installed this mod, it works perfectly, but it makes the SSI not work anymore! Does anyone know what's wrong? Thanks!
