Alrighty, here is the first release of it: http://www.agigames.com/boardmod/skins.zip

Please listen carefully:

First you need to open skinsdb.php and change $skinspath = "http://www.yoursite.com/yabbse"; to the name of your site and board location.

Then upload skinsdb.php to the boards directory and run it to create the appropriate tables.

Next upload the Skins.php file to the sources directory.

Then make the Skins directory in your boards root directory and upload the folders that contain the skins.

Run boardmod se 2.5 and install the mod and upload all the affected files.

Next, you need to either upload the template.php file included or add this in place of the style sheets in your template:

<?
global $sourcedir;
include_once("$sourcedir/Skins.php");
?>

No every body listen up, this isn't the last version of it. I am going to be adding template selection for this mod, but until that comes I thought I would release this version which alters only the css.

The reason for that is that the css's change and not the templates. I didn't alter you CSS at all. Infact the css at my own site looks horrible for a skin(because of the default template, they need to add more classes to it)

I had taken it down for the moment, but I will get it back up for yall to see.

Alright, go to http://www.agigames.com/boardmod/ the skins mod has been installed there. Just register and then you will be able to select your skin in your profile.

Nice Chris, the only skin I want is a work friendly skin, generally called "office pal". It's meant to look like a standard MS page or something with no logos etc.

Is it possible to have just the one skin?

Sure it is possible to have only 1 skin, only upload one of the skins and that will be the only one available. But if your asking me to make a skin sorry no can do. Just use one of the current skins as an example on how to make a skin.

Well if there is only going to be one option, then I don't even see a point in using the skin mod. It is best used for 2 or more looks.

Sorry my bad explanation, my site is quite bright (puple/lilac) those who are using it from work want an office pal "quiet" coloured version. Including options to remove all pics avatars etc.

Well the skin mod only changes css's(temporarily till the new version which will change templates.). So removing the images won't work. Right now all the skins are is colors.

The template version won't remove the avatars or the smileys though, the most it can remove is pictures in the template itself. To get rid of the avatars use Jedi's avatar remover stuff. As for smileys, I don't think there is a mod to get rid of them.
