User post stats (Posts per day)

There was a mod for YaBB 1 Gold which was called something like User Post Stats, or something along those lines.

It displayed the average number of posts a user posted per day in the user's profile.

Anyone care to script that mod for YaBB SE?

I only thought of this for a second, so there may be a better way to do it, but the way I'm thinking it'd take quite a few queries

This is actually pretty easy to do but just would take some time.  When viewing a profile number of posts and date registered are both selected.  Just find the number of days they have been a member and do some division.

The date registered is stored as a UNIX timestamp, so surely it'd be:

The number of posts divided by:
The current time as a UNIX timestamp minus the registration date as a UNIX timestamp.

hehe i had this in mind on making my next gamers mod for se.. it was suppose to be a divisible factor in loosing points in the points system  ... Very Useful addon i would say ..Seems To Me Someones Already Got His Thoughts On It.   .. I Have Many Ideas At hand More ideas more better yabb would be

I was doing it actually.  Got BoardMod open, started writing the short code modifications, NT workstation died before it was saved.  I should be able to do it this weekend.

Don't forget that you have to calculate the actual days, since not all months have the same number of days.  You would also have to take into consideration leap years if it was to be done correctly.

I belive it all uses UNIX time stamps.  There is already the code that deals with birthdays and I will use some from that to do this.  Mcguire has also started working on this mod and may take over.
