In your english.lng file (or whichever language you use), look at these lines:

$txt[152]
$txt[153]
$txt[247]

And you should see the modifiable text for those two tags.

Thanks for the quick response. I have two more questions.

1) When the user is logged on and it (yabb uname) says "Hey, [username], you have XX messages". is it possible to add a logout link right after where the username is displayed?

2) Is it possible to remove some of the buttons from the top navigation bar link?

2) Yes, but you'll need to understand a little PHP code. Look in sub.php for

function template_header()

the menu is set up in there - look for $yymenu, and it's also culled from english.lng - but you'd need to know what you're doing to play with that area.
