How can I make myself an admin through ftp access?

Hello,
How can I make myself an admin without access to the main boards? Im an administrator but I have forgotten my password. I have full ftp access to the site with the forum on, I have created a new user, how can I make this user an admin through the ftp rather than the board itself?

When I first set up my admin i just entered a bogus email address, and I never changed it so i can't  :(

you can make it in phpmyadmin! ftp will not help!

1. you register as a normal user
2  and then go to your db and copy the password from this user to your adminaccount (in table members)!
3. delete this user if you have access!

Download this tool I created: http://www.yabb.info/adminrestore.zip

Put it right in the directory where Settings.php is and call it up, very straightforward.

Okay thanks guys, I also managed to go into the database and modify the new users "User group" to administrator. From there i could do what I wanted. Also I kept this new user as a backup admin.
