also, is there another way to call ssi.php, like the <script src=""></script> way?  I have tried but couldn't get it to work, so wondering if it is even possible.  I want to put the users online on the template.php.  Thanks.

Oh you want it to be on all pages.  it's on BoardIndex now, if you add it in again, it would duplicate users online on BoardIndex.  But you should be able to use SSI.php the PHP form in template.

I tried to add it to the template, but got errors.  Hmm, I will try to add it to subs.php and call it on the template with <Yabbonline>

I got it working.  Actually easier than I thought it would be.  I was kinda scared to try it on my live board since I have no knowledge of php or mysql database queries.

Still would like to know about the <script src=""> question.  Thanks.

I took out the who's online function and stuck it in sub.php and called it on the template with <yabb online>

I also figure out why I couldn't use a ssi call inside a ssi.  I was naming my files that I was callint .txt, to have a ssi call inside of file that is already being called via ssi, you have to have the one that is being called and calling the other named .shtml.  Very simple but overlooked pain in the ass.
