either with CSS manipulation but it was a wide effect.

so edit the source files to get a permanent effect.

BoardIndex.php for descriptions.
Display.php for post messages.

look for the HTML in the source that looks like the HTML thats outputted for the board.

last i remember $boarddesc was the variable used for descriptions... so just put some HTML font tags around it.

hopeless people....  ::)

open boardindex.php and search for this:
Quote<br>$row_board[description]</font>$showmods</td>
Quotenow put your own HTML font tags around:
Quote$row_board[description]

open display.php and search for this:
Quote<hr width="100%" size="1" class="windowbg3">
            $message
            </td>

now put your own HTML font tags around:
Quote$message

Download the SafeMode version of YaBB SE 1.1.0 (if you use 1.1.0):
http://www.yabb.info/download.php?download=yabbse_1-1-0s.zip
In there are all the files of YaBB SE.

btw, ASCII Mode is just fine for the .php files. Don't use binary mode for them!

Have you chmodded the edited files the right way?
