mod to remove "delete threads older than.."

is there a mod writer who could do this??

I want to remove the function that allows threads to be deleted after XX days in the admin area.

not got an installation to hand at the moment but in your sources dir rename the file named something like removeoldthreads.php - note not sure of the exact name to something else, then the feature will be broke.

I am about to let another one become mod, but want that disabled jsut incase of wrong click...

DB is now 50MB....
thatas a lot of posts to loose. (although I now can backup!! yippee!!)

I'll rename the file to something else

How do you Update the DB?

I work with PHPmyAdmin, but i`m not shure, that Backup & Restore work with 50 MB (have 15 MB and it still works)...

Add this to the file that does the remove posts things.  Forget which file but you should be able to find it.

One very easy thing that I did on Boardnation is add a second form field under where you specify the number of days.  In the box you must type YES in order to confirm the action.
