I'm wondering if this is something that can be changed at all...

Is this my problem or my web hosters?

At 10:58 pm tonight the time on the forum says...

    Hey, Pat Scott,
    you have 19 messages,
    0 are new.

I've looked in the Admin area but cannot find anything as to how I can re-set the clock.  I hadn't even noticed this but many participants have!

In your profile there is a time offset box where you can change your time when you are logged in.

And in the admin center, the is also a time offset box where you can set the default time for the board for guests and members that don't have their time offset set in their profile.

    Thanks Chris...

I thought that this time offset was just for various time zones but this seems to be like a 27 minutes off kilter problem!  LOL

But I'll see what I can figure out in there.

If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.  I find that the help in here is just great for this old grandma!!!

You'll see the time at the upper right.

OK, I think it might be the server's fault!  I'll just turn him over my knee as it's my son!

We're in Eastern time (same as New York) here in Ontario.

Thanks so much for your help.

Admin Center > Forum Preferences & Settings > Time Offset.

You need to find out your server's time.  If it's, say 4 PM  and you're 8PM, then you need to offset it ahead by 4 hours (+4).

If your server's 10 PM, and you're 8 PM, you need to offset it behind by 2 hours (-2).  It's based on Server time, not timezone.  :)

    Hope this helps!
