Is there a mod that will limit the number of posts a user (or even any user) can post in one day?

I heard that some named David might have a mod that will allow an administrator to limit the number of posts by a user in a day.

Is this true?

My mod just limits each user to one post on a certain board.

Darn.  Just curious, what was the purpose of that?

Will you be making a mod to do what I need? It sure seems like many would want it to keep the pests at bay.

It was for a advertisment board where we only allow each user one thread.

i don't really see a point in this, if they annoy you with there post or whatever warn them and then if they keep it up bann them  ;D

The problem is that these guys keep popping in and it is difficult to keep up with it all. Also, ignore is not available to visitors. And if visitors don't like all the garbage they see, they won't register!

My users are asking for this too.

Is there anyone else out there who would write this mod?
