[Done 1.5.1RC44] New Im Indicator with You've Got Mail Sound

I updated the original New IM Indicator Mod that was created by Mach8
and integrated the "You've Got Mail" sound with a flash button that babylonking
released.
I read somewhere that the New IM Mod was updated for 1.5.1RC, but could not find it,
so I did it myself with the additional changes.
This should also work on other RC versions of 1.5.1.

Changed the new IM display to read:
Hey, (username), you have (#) instant message(s) (new icon)

My users didn't even know what the original display was for and that the Forum had IMs in it until I changed this
and added a shortcut in my menu to the IM page.

This mod makes changes to "english.lng" and "subs.php".

Run BoardMod and upload the changed files.
Then upload the "new2.swf" file to your "YaBBImages Directory".

Only problem, well it's annoying... the you have mail keeps on sounding over and over until you clear all of your new IM's. Once you view your inbox it should stop until you get a new one or you log out and then log back in and had not finished reading all of the IM's.

LOL! No really, everytime I click on a page it goes off. Well, at least it will force you to read those IM's.

Would it be possible to have a selection of sound files available?
So that they could decide on their own favourite sound from the preferences in IM ? Maybe a drop down selector or something linking in to a directory where the sounds are stored ? ?

I Like this flash better than the one I created! (this mod change has been done by the way by many different people). A variant of this mod change is in Supermod and also a variant of this is release by me.

I realize that there are probably various versions of this mod floating around, but I could not find anything recent for 1.5.1 that was by itself and that included the sound.  So, for my first attempt at making a public mod, here it is.  And it looks like it's gotten some attention.

That would involve a menu selection in the users profile with multiple pre-existing flash images for the user to select from.  The sound itself is part of the flash image that I didn't create.  The original came from babylonking and then someone else changed the image to more resemble the new icon you find in the message indexes.  A mod like that would be out of my league at the present.
