Copyright question

I have set up a new YaBB SE forum after having too many problems with an upgrade from YaBB SP1 Gold.

I am in the process of customizing the template to make it match the color theme of my site. I have made some good progress, but I have a question regarding the Copyright tags.

I wanted to eliminate the table at the bottom of the forums that contains the copyright notice, but I also wanted to be sure to leave all of the copyright information intact in order to give everyone their proper credit.

I took the copyright text from the table, then deleted the bottom table. I then pasted the Copyright text into the bottom of the forum. The problem, though, is that I am getting a very large notice on the bottom of my board stating that I am using an illegal copy of the forum software.

Please take a look at http://forums.northeastbass.com and tell me how to get rid of this message without having to put the whole table back into place (if that's possible).

Thanks :)

p.s. I haven't finished the customizations yet, so the color scheme isn't quite what I intend for it to be.

Thanks... do I just insert it into the source code exactly as you typed it out, in the location that I want it to show up?
