What's this thing in the user profiles about being active and what do I have to do to be active?

Mine still says:
Peter Duggan was last active on Wed Dec 18, 2002
Current Status:  Online

Despite the fact that I've been on every day since then and made three posts (four now!) in that time...

I'd hardly have thought that made me dead! ::)

I think that is based on when you last logged in, so if you have it marked to always stay logged on it will never change.

That would explain it (because I *did* log out last night for a bit), but it seems a strange way to decide when someone was last active!

Should be fixed now.  Sorry - coding bug.  I was doing an if (a-b > x) instead of if (b-a > x)

since it was possible for a-b to be a negative number, the code was acting stupid, as expected.  :P

Is this hard-coded to the forum server time? IOW, do I have to wait till 5.00am GMT to see that I was active today?

At exactly 5am on my +5 hour offset yabbse.org forum clock, I finally became active on Thursday! Now I can go to bed... :P

(True, but not why I was still up!)
