IE problems

I have downloaded version 1.4.1 of YaBBSE on my site Dataportalen.com, but I have experienced some problems in Internet Explorer.

In Opera I can view both pictures in signatures and the smileys, but in IE they just seem to vanish.
Any tips of what I should do so that the difference between the two browsers aren't that different. You see, most of the users of my Forum are using different versions of IE.

Looking into the source code of your page shows the img tag in your sig like this:

I suppose the problem arises with the width="" and height="" attributes. Maybe check your board settings (all img size settings).

Ok, then I'll just activate the HTML-tag and put in the with and height, but there must be something in the Forum Settings since Opera can view all the images, and IE not.
You see also the smilies do not show in Internet Explorer.

The the width="" and height="" attributes are invalid. Different browsers may react in different ways on invalid html tags. Just registered in your board and sent you an IM.

Er, don't change the language and time format, as they have been customized to fit the Norwegian layout.

I changed the following settting in your board, images look fine now:

In the admin menu, in "Installed Mods Settings and Options" I changed the 2 values
- Max width of posted pictures (0 = disable)  
- Max height of posted pictures (0 = disable)
each from "300" to "0".

By this smileys and images are displayed now, in the posts and in the signature.

I did try to change back to "300" but then the images disappear again. Looks like you have to leave this setting on "0".
