I think this would be a major change, but it is very much needed.

For instance.  I made a group called Forum Staff (this allows access to hidden categoried for them).  Then I have another category for a certain group of game modders so they can have a private category.  Now if I want a guy to have access to both, but I don't want all of the modder group to have access to the Forum Staff category...I am screwed.

There needs to be this ability for users to belong to multiple groups and there needs to be either a default rule for how this works or a way to speficy rules for how it would then work on your forum.

Okay, now throw rotten tomatos at me for daring to speak of so much work.  I know you want to!   ;D  (But I think this is really needed, I am not sure if *any* forum out there has this yet, and it'd put YaBBSE in the driver's seat.)

I agree.. I think this would be a great addition to the already great software.

I asked for this mod a week or so back.  It is desperately needed.

It's available for SP1, sure wish it could become available for YaBB SE 1.4
