Not sure if it's been done/suggested, but;;

How about an option to view the forum as Flat or Threaded?

Also, how about a feature where you can set it so unless a member is logged in, they can only access say the general forum to get a taste of where they're registering and a forum where anyone can post, where "Members Only" limitations don't count.

This has been talked about breifly but never implemented.  I don't think there was enough interest for the work required.

Hey I was just about to ask the same question, but i decided to do a search first and found this. I would be interested!!!
Even though yabb is a much better product, I almost went with phorum(www.phorum.org) because it has a flat or threaded view. Anyone who uses usenet will understand the value of the threaded view. Somebody PLEEEEEZ!!!!! Make this mod. :-*
