Quick help plz

 i've just asked my host to create  a sub domain for my forum, so what I have to do with the new database user/pass ? like just change from the old user/pass to the new one ? or I have to do something else ?

You shouldn't have to change your database user names and passwords.  You will have to change some settings in your Settings.php file.  Most likely you will have to change these lines.

oh,  i asked them to do so, coz im using my ftp user/pass for YaBB forum, and dont wanna risk it coz some1 might hack my YaBB, so i asked them for the sub domain things

If you are getting a subdomain then your board's address will change.  ie.  ruth.catlin.edu is a subdomain of www.catlin.edu.  Is that what you are having done or are you just having them change the user name and password of your database?
