Yabb SP1 to Yabbse

I want to start testing Yabbse with a view to replacing my Yabb SP1.

I'm worried that if I upload YabbSE it could interfere with the Yabb SP1 files already there as a working forum.

Can I create Yabbse in a totally different folder? Can that folder contain its own cgi-bin. i.e. can I seperate the two totally to avoid any chance of interference.?

YaBB SE can have it's own folder and it's not required to sit in a cgi-bin.  So it can be in any regular folder.

SE does not interact with any flat files that are in use for SP1 so you'll be fine :)
