installing the language packs

I downloaded all the language packs and I assume they go in the yabbse directory. Where do the images go for those that have images zipped with them? Some of them have the same filename as other images and I don't want to overwrite anything.
A downloadable .txt file to explain this to noobs like me might be a good idea.  ;D
