moving servers

is there a specific way of doing this without losing everything or having get people to re register

very easy - use phpmyadmin to do a database dump, do the isntallation on the new server, and import the data from that database dump.

Normally, a link to this program is offered by your ISP. If it is your own server, you have to install this database tool.
