no categories/boards on startup?

Hi Everyone,

Longtime user of Forums...but this is the first one I've tried to setup and admin myself!

By default my board seems not to display the Categories and Boards at startup.  Is there a way to make the Categories and Boards display WITHOUT the user having to login?

I've tried unchecking the 'Disallow guest from doing anything but login or register' but still when you launch a browser window you can't 'see' the categories and boards till you login...

Have a URL?  For those categories, have you limited them to a certain membergroup?  If so, that is what is causing the problem...

I thought I HAD to set membergroups...so you only had access if you registered and logged in.  You couldn't even VIEW the categories and boards.
