Is there a limit for number of IM per member

Like to know whether is there a limit number of IM per member. If not, is there anyway that i can set a limit of IM per member in order not to exceed my web space.

there is no limit! and at the moment exist no mod for this, but it will not difficult to realize such a function! only thing you have to do is to modify your instantmessage.php this way that user can not write an instant message if the have more then x messages in the inbox!
