Another usefull mod in the perl version Shows the password to admins when you view a profile. Has anyone looked into making this mod?

DES, MD5 all this stuff are one-way-passes!!! only way to do this is store the passworts without encryption (bad idea)!

heh, actually I wrote a program to crack DES in my security class, but it is written in C++ and it is for triple DES. Oh well.

well, DES cracking is posible (if you use standard DES with standard 2 letter salt, because the salt ist part of the encoded passwort) but MD5 use an random MD5 salt you can´t crack! and if you can crack it oneday, it need half a day!

it´s the same with encryption by store in a matrix which you multiplies with another matrix! self if the matrizes are in a "unknown size m:n relation" you can crack it, but it needs weeks!
