Dic, thanks for the Boardmod version - It installed without any problems.

I've noticed one minor issue with the bday mod for 1.3 At least the one I have anyways...

If you use a different name,other than your "sign on" name, the link will still work everywhere else, (who's online, post author, etc.) but it will not work in the "wish a happy bday" location. It tries to use the "new" name and gives the error that the user does not exist.

You're right, that is a bug - on board index, the mod will use the real name as part of the URL for the link to the profile, which of course won't work. Another problem is that, if you click on Birthdays, the list per month will list the usernames instead of the displayed names.

And Hypocrite is right - It's a problem with multilingual boards as the displayed text is stored in the database. It would make more sense to store those strings in the language files...

yeah thats the way the mod was written but if you translate this
i can make seperate one for each lang without much trouble
or read the bdaydbmod.php file it has the words that go in the db right in it
then make the changes to your lang file and u should be all set
