Moved server... trying to re upload database.

OK, is anyone here able to give me a more then 2 word freiking explanation on how to do this ?  My forums have been offline for 4 days, so i just spent 3 hrs in the Yahoo! chat rooms trying to get help... you think they know what they are doing ? hell yeah but they are too bl00dy screwed up in thir geek talk to explain anyhting in english... and once they catch on that i dont get what they are on about they get all intimate on me and asking for my age and "oh you must be a nice young boy" arhrhrhrhhrhr !

so if anyone can explain this i would be appreciative... i tried re uploading the database through php my admin, yet i have no idea where and how to do it so my attempts failed miserable...

even if u have a link to a tutorial i would appreciate any help you have to offer...
