Sticky threads aren't very sticky

I'm not sure this is a bug or if it was intentional, but if you have a bunch of sticky threads within the same board, the last one that had a post will always be at the top. This defeats the purpose of sticky threads in boards like news, where people like to organize them by post date by using sticky (Check XXL's news board for example.)

Is there any way to make it not do this or is it a bug?

the point of a sticky topic is just to keep it at the top of the board at all times... yes so it may get sorted by last post date if theres several sticky topics...
