Installation question....

Hey,

I am wondering if I need to save my sql stuff on the mysql server if I want to save my users and posts if I am doing a clean install of 1.3  Not an upgrade, and I am deleting all other things of version 1.0.  I am having a very strange problem with 1.3 and no one has figured it out yet.  (If you want, check the 1.3 bugs section and help me out.)  Which is why I am trying this.  So do I have to save them or will the installation not overwrite them.  And if so, how do I find and save them. Thanks.  (Not sure if this post belongs in this section and if the answer to this is under my nose.  Sorry if it is.)
