lots of errors - i believe I have Chmod ed everything ok
any help greatly appreciated

if you have chmod your php´s to 666 and uploaded in ascii, then check your path´s in Settings.php!

all seems in order - though i must say im not too sure what im looking for - i think its right

maybe i should try safe mode off install - would it not work if safe mode is off on the server?

how do i tell?

jip, lycos is horrible, because of any probs with redirect (dobleslash in url) and many other things because they use php4u with many restrictions!
