File Permission after move to new prowider

Hello,

first of all, thx a lot for this great forum, never seen something good ;-)

I searched the forums in here for a solution of my problem but cannot find any thread discribing it.

I moved my running forum to an new provider and therefore I downloaded all the forum files to my windows pc. After uploading it again to my new provider, the files lost their regular permission, which is set by your installation scripts.

Everythings worked fine with standard permisions at my new provider, so I regognized no failure. But the next time I tried to login as admin im the Administration Center, I get lots of errors. I think that this have to do with the persissions.

So now my question, is there any guide discribing how the permissions should be , after installing, or should they be the same as the standard yabb forum, like described here http://www.yabbforum.com/YaBBHelp/install.html

Plz help me  ;D

Hello,

con noone here help me??

I don't want to install Yabbse again with the installer, because i would loose all my modifications. I need to know how the permissions on the folders and file need to be after a regular installation. So that I can set it to my copy manually.

Plz help,

Settings.php, yabbinfo.xml and template you will want chmod 666.

Some people are chmoding all of their files but you only need to do that if you plan in using package manager.

Some people are also chmod 777 the main directory their forum is sitting in.
